Slovakia joins Danish initiative on healthcare in the occupied Palestinian territories
The Embassy of the State of Palestine warmly thanks the Slovak Republic for joining the Danish-led initiative calling for access to healthcare in the occupied Palestinian territories.
By signing this important joint statement, Slovakia has once again demonstrated its commitment to international law, humanitarian principles, and solidarity with the Palestinian people, particularly in light of the catastrophic situation in Gaza.
We deeply value Slovakia’s continued humanitarian engagement — from sending medical equipment and supporting evacuations of patients, including children in need of urgent care, to working with European and international partners to ensure that those suffering in Gaza receive the treatment they desperately need.
This step strengthens international efforts to secure the rights of Palestinians to medical care, to protect medical personnel, and to ensure that humanitarian aid can reach those who need it most.
