Madam Ambassador Safa Khaldi conducted a meeting with Mr. Ambassador Nicolas Suran, French Ambassador in Bratislava, where she expressed her thanks and gratitude to the French Republic for the enormous efforts made by France and its leadership to ensure the success of the international conference on the two-state solution during the General Assembly session of the United Nations in New York, which was crowned with a successful outcome and historic recognition by a number of European and other countries, bringing the number of countries recognizing the State of Palestine to 160 worldwide.
Through this position declared at the United Nations, the international community has strongly and clearly recognized the right of the Palestinian people to self-determination, freedom and independence, and expressed its support for the State and Government of Palestine to achieve stability and peace for the peoples of the region and the world.
