On December 20, 2024 on the occasion of the upcoming Christmas holidays, Her Excellency Ambassador Safa Khaldi met with the Archbishop of Trnava, Mons. Ján Orosch, joined by His Excellency Jozef Hudec, Ambassador of Slovakia to the State of Palestine.
During their meaningful discussions, Her Excellency briefed Mons. Orosch on the difficult situation faced by families in Palestine, especially in Gaza. She urged him to remember the children of Gaza and all the Palestinian people in his prayers during the Christmas midnight mass. In addition, Their Excellencies discussed the importance of family, and its value to Palestinians, the vital role of the Church in Palestine in regard to community service, and the peaceful coexistence and harmony between Palestinian Christians and Muslims.
